Full-Stack Developer for 3 Month Contract

We are looking for a full-stack developer to work on an upcoming project. The selected freelancer will have to work with remote team members and must be capable of fulfilling the entire full-stack development for the project with minimal supervision. The candidate must be able to work with detailed project specifications and communicate when unclear of a specification. Work timings 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday in your timezone. Must be able to have a Skype or Zoom call once per week with Central Time Zone. Candidates who are already busy with other projects kindly excuse. Start date: Within 2 weeks (negotiable) Remuneration: INR 56,000 / per month; PKR 124,000 / per month; or USD 770 / per month This is a contract job for a period of 3 months. We have ongoing assignments for Phase II and III of this project for the right candidate and even a permanent position can be offered upon successful completion depending on the candidates' performance. Job description for a full-stack developer: The job will be working with team members in an agile team environment developing an interactive, map-based travel planning platform. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in the below: MANDATORY SKILLS: - 4+ years of professional experience as a Software Developer - 3 years of Node.JS and React experience - Proficient in backend development using NodeJS and MongoDB - GeoJSON experience is a PLUS - Experience in working with JavaScript frameworks and third-party libraries - Strong experience working in Node.JS and Rest APIs - Knowledge of working with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB or MongoDB - Knowledge of working with SQL databases such as MySQL, Postgress, or Oracle - Good experience using Docker containers - Good understanding of micro-services, GraphQL, and serverless architecture - Knowledge and Experience using CI/CD - Experienced in deploying apps in a cloud environment e.g. Google, AWS, or Digital Ocean - Experience in planning and execution of time-barred assignments - Good communication skills - Ability to self-train TECHNOLOGIES WE ARE USING ON THIS PROJECT - [login to view URL] - Node.js - GraphQL and micro-services - ArangoDB database (this is being handled by another team member) - Map platform (provided by 3rd party APIs) - [login to view URL] Headless CMS - MySQL - Cloud servers (Digital Ocean) - GitHub CI/CD NOTE: UI/UX will be designed by another team member.
