We are looking for a talented programmer to help it implement the backend for an upcoming browser based MMO title. The job will be to co-design and implement the server architecture that will power the game.
Initially we would like to do a small 80 hours test. The server architecture consists of 6 different programs. The first project will be to further refine this design, and start implementation on one or more of these programs. The project is limited to 80 hours, and we do not expect a finished program at the end of it. What will be important is how well we work together and the quality and quantity of the code written.
Dependant on how that works out, we might want to do a much bigger project (6-9 months).
The ideal candidate is experienced in many of the following items:
- Fluent in c#
- Has experience in games programming
- Is not too far from GMT+1 time zone.
- Test driven development.
- Knowlegde with any of the tools we are using; Mono + MonoCo, Visual Studio C#, NUnit, SCons, svn, Xen/OpenVZ for deployment, OSX and Unity3D.
