We are a UK document management software company and would like to find a UK based person who can assist us with first line support. We will train you how to administer the systems we sell and how to handle support enquiries. We have a knowledge base and years of experience that can be shared. We will be on-hand to assist our new partner.
We offer support [url removed, login to view] to [url removed, login to view] Monday to Friday. We usually answer support queries in 4 hour and fix most things remotely in a few minutes.
This role isn't full time so would suit somebody who has other work to do and can cope with any distractions or sees this as a fill in.
We would like to pay a month retainer for an agreed amount of cover and then a step payment based on hours recorded

The ability to respond within 2 say 4 hours max to all email
Will take phone calls and can manage call handling - we can hook you into our PBX
Is a UK resident and speaks fluent English OR on a time zone and can handle our calls [url removed, login to view] BST / GMT Monday to Friday (but still speaks perfect English)
Has been in IT all of their life and is a fast learner - the ability to diagnose IIS / SQL errors quickly is important
The ability to understand basic C# scripts would be a distinct advantage

I work a shift pattern of 2 days and 2 nights, 7am until 7pm and 7pm until 7am. Would this be acceptable to your company as I could not always answer a phone during these hours. Thanks Jamie
