My company manufactures tube/pipe bending machinery. I am seeking a .NET programmer (preferably [url removed, login to view] but C# is fine) with openGL and possibly 3d cadcam experience to develop a tube bend calculator for Windows 2000/XP using Visual [url removed, login to view] 2005. Two programs, called "Bend-Tech EZ-3D" and "Bend-Tech PRO" are similar to my needs and can be found at [url removed, login to view] as demos. Obviously, I do not desire an exact clone. I see the app as more of a true 3d cad application. I need two versions developed. The first one will only calculate ONE piece of tubing at a time. This version needs to be completed before the second one begins. The second program will incorporate multiple pieces of tubing that can be joined together using relationships.
I have purchased a VS2005 C# openGL framework as source code from http://www.csharpopenglframework.com. I would, of course, purchase you a copy if it meets your needs. It does not do a clipped torus but an open source GLE like GLE32 may have to be used. GLE32 is done in VS2003 and may need to be modified for use in VS2005. If so, I would consider this as part of the package and receive the modified source code.
I see this as an on going project after version 1 of each app is done. Meaning, once the programs are completed, addition versions are very likely and I would like to stay with the same programmer.
Later, if I decide on new features (or if you think of any) I would submit them to you for an estimate of your fee.
I'm sorry but I only speak english so this is a requirement. I would need the programmer to email me all code needed to build the solution on a weekly basis. All code must be clearly commented.
