It is with significant interest that I enclose my portfolio for the audio editing engineer position. With an extensive music background and technical experience, I am optimistic in my ability to become an asset to your project.
I graduated from Loyola University New Orleans with a B.M. in Music Composition. This required an all-encompassing understanding of music theory, harmony, orchestration, counterpoint, and history. I received extensive training in classical, jazz, and Renaissance composition. These skills culminated in the premiere of my first symphony by the Loyola Symphony Orchestra on April 30th of 2016.
I have worked a wide variety of tasks in a recording studio setting, including arranging, orchestrating, conducting the music and acting as head communicant between the musicians and engineer. I believe these experiences have directly prepared me for the world of audio engineering. Additionally, I am fluent in all of the major DAWs and virtual instrument library interfaces.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
