R&B should set the tone—think smooth classics during dinner and high-energy tracks once the party starts—Reading the room and riding the energy in real time is essential. Key points: • Live-mix a continuous 3-4-hour set focused on R&B • Bring your own controller, laptop and preferred DJ software; the venue provides PA and basic lighting • Arrive early enough for a quick sound-check and level balance • Be ready with a short backup playlist in case of technical hiccups Budget : $200 Date : 9th May 2026 Venue : North Vancouver Time : 5.30pm onwards
