YouTube Documentary-Style Video Editor Required

@danino29

Seven documentary-style videos on history, mysteries, and current events need cinematic pacing with animated maps, timelines, kinetic typography, and motion-tracked graphics instead of a slideshow feel, which is exactly the After Effects and motion graphics work I focus on. My portfolio and editing samples are on my Freelancer profile, rated 4.9 across 139 reviews. For pricing within your budget, one video would run around $2 and the full batch about $14. Turnaround is overnight per video since I'm EU-based working against your US schedule. I'd start from your script and voice-over, send a fast first cut so you can judge direction early, then refine to final. Want to begin with a paid trial video from the batch?

DOCUMENTARY EDITOR I've reviewed your project requirements and I'm confident that my skills and experience make me a great fit for this job. With my background in video editing, motion graphics, and animation, I can help you create engaging, cinematic, and professional videos for your YouTube channel. I've worked on various projects that involve documentary-style storytelling, history, mysteries, facts, and current topics. I'm proficient in using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro, which will enable me to deliver high-quality visuals and motion graphics. My expertise in animation, sound design, and visual effects will also be beneficial in creating engaging transitions and visual effects. To execute this project, I'll follow a structured approach: * Review the script and voice-over to understand the content and tone * Research and incorporate relevant stock footage, archival footage, and other visual elements * Create professional motion graphics and animations to support the narration * Develop a strong visual flow that matches the narration * Color correct and enhance the audio as needed My estimated price for one video is $25, and I can provide a total price for all 7 videos upon request. I also include 2 revisions with my bid. Let's discuss the project further and determine if we're a good fit.

DOCUMENTARY EDITOR For story-driven documentary pacing, the real work isn't cutting to the VO, it's building visual rhythm that changes just before attention drops—layering archival stills, animated maps, and kinetic type on 3-5 second beats so nothing feels static, while keeping motion graphics purposeful (labeling a location, visualizing a stat) rather than decorative. I'd build each video around the narration's emotional beats first, then source/animate visuals to punctuate those specific moments rather than filling time generically. For the trial: my price is $25 CAD for one video, with a 3-day turnaround given the animated maps/timelines/kinetic typography involved, and 2 rounds of revisions included. Full 7-video package would run $150-175 CAD total once we lock the style. I work in Premiere Pro and After Effects for exactly this kind of cinematic-documentary hybrid. Quick question: do you have specific reference channels whose pacing/graphics style you want matched most closely? My background is in cinema and directing, with hands-on experience in narrative-driven editing, motion graphics, and visual storytelling that supports voice-over rather than competing with it. I'm comfortable sourcing archival/stock footage and building custom animated elements (maps, timelines, data visualization) from scratch when needed. Relevant documentary-style and motion graphics samples are available on my Freelancer profile.

Hi, Thanks for sharing your project. It aligns well with work I’ve successfully completed for other clients, and I’m confident I can deliver a high-quality solution tailored to your requirements. Before providing an accurate timeline, scope, and budget, I’d like to clarify a few key details to ensure we're aligned from the start. Freelancer’s proposal character limit makes it difficult to cover everything thoroughly here. If you're available, let's connect via chat. I can walk you through similar projects I've completed, discuss the best approach for your specific requirements, and answer any questions you may have. Once I understand your expectations, I'll provide a clear execution plan with realistic timelines and pricing. I’m ready to get started as soon as we finalize the details and look forward to working with you. Best regards, Mayank Sahu

DOCUMENTARY EDITOR Can you provide the first script, voice over, and one style reference so I can complete the paid trial in the exact direction you want? The main challenge is turning scripted narration into a documentary that feels visually driven rather than like a slideshow, especially when archival footage, maps, timelines, statistics, captions, and motion graphics all need to reinforce the story without slowing the pacing. I would build each video around the narration, changing visuals at the right moments with relevant footage, archival images, maps, animated timelines, kinetic typography, tracked labels, charts, zooms, and parallax effects. I would handle colour correction, audio enhancement, background music, sound effects, captions, and YouTube focused pacing, then deliver a polished H.264 video ready for upload. Best regards, Akif U.
