Hi,
I hope I might get some good help from an experienced phone app programmer.
I am a newby to writing phone apps (as you will tell by the level of my questions below). And want some mentoring / help / tuition to answer my questions on my first attempt (and it's driving me crazy).
I have students who I want to encourage to do repetitive tasks well.
My idea was to use 3 buttons (gold medal, silver and bronze) that when hit, will display a smaller gold/silver/bronze medal in their ‘medal tally’ (in an area below the 3 buttons on the same screen on their phone). Once they finish their tasks and finalize their ‘medal tally’, they press another button to store the details of their ‘medal tally’ in a file ((adding up 3 for each gold etc to make a total number to be stored). Nothing complicated.
But every step of what I have written so far has bugs. And I am sick of ‘trial and error’. I’m using Visual Studio 2017 as the IDE. I just need some help and happy to pay for it as it will stop this torment.
By my questions below you will see I am at a low level so hopefully this is quite easy for you.
