We have a mobile application created using Ionic (Angular 5) application whose primary feature is that of playing music for premature babies. You can find more information at https://preemiemusictherapy.org. The application makes use of the native Ionic music player and several web views for viewing website information. From a backend perspective, the application makes use of Firebase Firestore for storing user information and as an API. The application is currently deployed to the Google Play Store and makes use of a subscription model. We'd like to remove this functionality and make it a simple paid application instead. There are a number of areas where the application relies on the subscription model and we'd like all these areas removed. We'd also like to update content on some of the pages (simple copy changes).
A development house has scoped the project for us already but could not take on the work. Their feedback is that the code is in a good space to complete all our requirements. This includes all development work, feedback changes and deploying the new version of the application on to the Google Play Store.
The Ionic application contains six pages, a single component (for the media player) and four services. There are two custom firebase functions for the backend/API.
We can provide access to the application code base and to the Firebase project. If work is done within a reasonable timeline within our budget, we plan on deploying the application to the Apple App Store and possibly utilising Ionic's PWA functionality for a web site deployment in future as a separate project.
