I have been playing with a simple MP3 player written in Delphi 10 with Firemonkey for use on my Android phone. I hope to release it as freeware in the App Store at some point.
I have 3 features to add to this project. Looking for 1 or 2 developers to help add these.
1) Detect when a phone call comes in and pause the mp3 player during the call. Detect when the ringing stops or when a phone call ends and have option to resume play. There are functions in the existing project HandleCallStart and HandleCallEnd that you should trigger.
2) Currently Android plays output to media devices just fine (such as my car stereo or portable Bluetooth speaker). Would like to update car stereo display through bluetooth with current song title and author just like Pandora and Youtube does in their apps. There is an existing function that gets called on song changes that you need to get working.
3) Least important of the three, but would also like to pause playback and resume when pause and resume buttons are pressed in Bluetooth devices that have them - such as my car stereo. You can use existing functions PausePlayback, ResumePlayback, StopPlayback, GotoNextMedia, amd GotoPrevMedia.
No other improvements to MP3 player are part of this project. I am looking for specific, working, barebones solutions to the problems listed above. Don't do anything with the mp3 player interface, I am giving you an early and simplified version as your starting point. I will be taking your solution and moving it I to my current project.
Solution must compile in Delphi 10 for Android. Solution must work on my end. I will create a milestone payment for each of the three tasks that you agree to do. NO FUNDS RELEASED UNTIL WORKING SOLUTION WITH SOURCE IS DELIVERED AND VERIFIED. You can send me an early proof of concept to verify Bluetooth communication and I will work hard to cooperate with testing.
A working mp3 player with source code is provided as a starting point.
