I would like assistance for the development of an Android App called - The Panama Canal.
The purpose of the game is to navigate vessels through the canal before your money runs out. The game is broken down into 3 stages.
1) Navigating your ship through the outer marker to the channel buoys avoiding other craft on the way. (Something like air control, but with ships)
2) Securing the ships to the tugs that allow the vessels to be pulled through the channel. (something like the velocity and distance calculations that exist on Angry birds. )
3) negotiating the 3 lochs ensuing the correct amount of water is placed within each loch to allow the efficient movement of boats through the Panama canal.
You start with a certain amount of money which slowly reduces representing the running costs associated with running the canal operation.
You get given money every time you successfully navigate a ship through each of the stages.
Financial penalties are incurred in real time for hitting other ships, wasting time in the locks, etc, etc
You are controlling more and more ships so you need to always keep an eye on all three sections of the game.
We haven't decided upon payment mechanisms yet, though we are considering a demo version where you negotiate a few ships, then a .99c version where you control an unlimited amount of ships.
We want a hands on developer here who can contribute a lot of ideas about how best to maximize the apps enjoyment, longevity and appeal and are happy to hear any development ideas and suggestions that you may have and would like to know timescales involved. We are happy to answer any and all questions by return and want to get moving on this quite soon.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you very soon.
Best Regards, |
