The problem I am trying to solve is during a disaster many first responder units (both in and out of uniform) and even bystanders respond creating chaos from a command and control perspective.
I want to build a mobile app similar to foursquare but for first responders and those willing to assist in a response situation. The app would allow individuals or organizations to sign up for the service. Once signed up an organization can use the app to create an "event" and create a random custom phrase (sort of like a safe word) and/or QR Code that would be sent to those individuals who "sign in" to respond. I envision different tiers of capabilities for the first responders and people just wanting to help. The app should track location and be open and allow for chat/messages to be sent from an incident command post to the app.
This might exist already and I am sure there are different paths that could be taken but this is just my initial stab at putting my thoughts down on paper!
Ideally revenue generation would be subscription based however I am open to other ideas and am willing to split revenue with developer for lower upfront costs.
