I have not found an app that fits my needs, I've tried Google's AppInventor but I do not have the time to learn how to make my own apps, and my budget is very low ($25 or less).
I'm looking for a simple Medicine Reminder Widget/App. I would like the widget to simply say "Have you taken your medicine today?" with a 'Yes' and 'No' button underneath. The default would be 'No,' but the user would select 'Yes' if he has taken his medicine for the day. If the user has not selected 'Yes' by a specific time (via settings menu), I need the app to send an email message (user creatable) to a group of addresses. If the user did select 'Yes,' I need the app/widget to reset to 'No' at a certain time of the day (ex: 4:00am, selectable via settings) to repeat this routine. A graphical widget with graphical 'Yes' & 'No' buttons are preferred.
You will retain rights to this app, you are free to market & promote once this app fits my needs and functionality. You will be free to enhance this app as you please (multiple medicines & widgets, add selectable sound reminders before the emailing, add in notification bar, add email address via Google's Contacts, etc)
The user is running a Pandigital Novel tablet which has the Android Open Platform Kit loaded. This allows most any Android app to be loaded and used like a regular Android Phone. But don't let this scare you, it is a standard Android 2.0 system. Its been used as a cheap tablet to monkey around with, but now has a useful purpose with this idea. And since this tablet will stay home, I need an app that will email the user at work. The Android Market is filled with reminder apps that will notify via the user's screen, but not via email.
