As you might know some live rtmp url streams can only be played using an application known as rtmpdump (freeware) that lets you play any rtmp url on an external application like VLC player.
What i need you to do is to use the rtmpdump toolkit for android not OS and integrate it into the app so that we can play live streams (which will be contained in an xml list on a backend sever) using either Mxplayer, Vitamo, VLC player etc.
I would like the app to display the channels in the following format
[url removed, login to view]
(logos will be sourced from xml list), so that when users select a particular channel, the rtmp url will be passed through rtmpdump which will then play the url using one of the android media players.
To get an idea of how rtmpdump works please check out the windows version of rtmpdump and how it works (see attached file). Make sure you have VLC player installed.
What I want is using RTMPDump to get the stream, and play the stream. that's it.Do not allowed to use Vitamo.
