Summary: We have an android application that is in the middle of its development and we need an individual that can work fast at bringing all of the code together into one functional coherent android application. If an individual proves to be responsive, professional, and a pleasure to work with, we'll be considering a longer term relationship on this project and more projects in the future. Below are some of the outstanding items that we need completed:
*Retrieve and store android's unique device ID in an xml file
*Tie the unique device ID to a user account by calling web services
*Re-enabled (previously disabled for development) layouts and tie them back into the user workflow
*Create a new layout to manage account password changes
*Fix broken layouts that do not show the app drawer icon
Candidate must understand standard and recent Android UI design patterns including the proper use of navigation drawers, action bars, Action overflow, pop-up notifications, full screen views, notification templates with actions, background processes or asynchronous tasks, spinners, pickers, progress bars/indicators, and indexing scroll. Candidate must understand common Android Java classes used in interface design and front-end development such as Fragment, DrawerLayout, FrameLayout, PreferenceScreen, AsyncTask, and others.
