Mobile/Web App QA Testers Needed

Project Overview We’re launching Block Events, an event-based mobile/web app, and we’re looking for detail-oriented testers to help us test functionality, user flows, and overall experience before launch. This role is short-term, paid, and ideal for QA testers, product testers, or users experienced with event, booking, or social apps. Scope of Work Testers will be responsible for reviewing the app in two phases: Phase 1: Independent Testing (Async) Test the app on your own device and document feedback, including: Account creation & login Navigation and user flow Event browsing & registration Buttons, links, and form submissions Load times and performance Bugs, glitches, or broken features User experience issues or confusing steps You will submit: A written feedback report Screenshots or screen recordings of issues (where applicable) Phase 2: Live Feedback Call (Video) After independent testing, selected testers will join a short video call (20–30 minutes) to: Walk through findings Demonstrate bugs live (if needed) Share usability and improvement suggestions Answer follow-up questions from the product team Requirements Experience testing apps, websites, or digital products Strong attention to detail Ability to clearly explain issues and suggestions Access to a smartphone and/or desktop Comfortable joining a video call (Zoom or Google Meet) Bonus (not required): QA or product testing background Experience with event, ticketing, or social apps Deliverables Written testing feedback Bug list with clear descriptions Screenshots or screen recordings Participation in one live feedback call How to apply: Please include: Brief testing or QA experience Devices you can test on (iOS, Android, Desktop) Any past testing examples (if available) Your availability for a short video call
