Two things decide whether it actually works in the field, more than any screen does. The heart of this is the matching engine, not the UI. When a customer books, which nearby technician gets the request, how accept/reject and timeout are handled, and making sure two customers are never assigned the same technician for the same slot - that logic lives on the server and is where these apps live or die. Worth designing deliberately from day one. Second, paying technicians (wallet, withdrawals) makes this a marketplace money-flow. In India that cannot legally sit in your own account until you release it - you need Razorpay Route or a similar split/settlement product, with each technician KYC-verified before payout. Building on Route from the start avoids a painful migration later. Honest note on scope and budget: two role-based apps plus a real admin, live tracking and payouts is a phased build. I would ship customer booking plus one service category and cash first, then live tracking, wallet and the rest. That gets you something real and testable quickly.
