STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) For Development of CISSP Educational Application This Statement of Work (“SOW”) is entered into on [Date], by and between: Client: __________________________ Address: ________________________ AND Service Provider (Freelancer): __________________________ Address: ________________________ Together referred to as the “Parties”. 1. Purpose The purpose of this SOW is to define the scope, deliverables, milestones, and responsibilities for the development of a CISSP Exam Preparation Educational Application, similar in functionality to Sybex and LearnZapp, deployable on Web, Android, and iOS platforms. 2. Scope of Work 2.1 Learner Application The Service Provider shall develop a learner-facing application with the following features: • CISSP domain-wise practice modules: ○ Eight (8) CISSP domains ○ One hundred (100) multiple-choice questions per domain • Practice examinations: ○ Five (5) full-length practice tests ○ One hundred fifty (150) multiple-choice questions per test • Functional capabilities: ○ Timed and untimed practice modes ○ Randomized question delivery ○ Bookmark and mark-for-review functionality ○ Display of correct answers and explanations ○ Test scoring and performance analytics ○ Review of incorrect responses ○ User progress tracking 2.2 Content Management (Admin Module) The Service Provider shall provide an admin interface enabling: • Upload and import of question banks from Excel files • Validation of Excel data and error reporting • Management and publishing of question banks • Updating content without requiring application reinstallation 3. Content Responsibility • The Client shall provide all CISSP questions, answers, and explanations in Excel format. • The Service Provider shall implement logic to parse, validate, and store this data within the application. • Final Excel template structure shall be mutually agreed during the initial project phase. 4. Platforms and Technology • Mobile Platforms: Android and iOS • Web Platform: Responsive Web Application • Development Approach: Single codebase preferred (Flutter / React Native or equivalent) • Backend: Cloud-based backend (e.g., Firebase, Supabase, or Node.js-based solution) Final technology stack shall be proposed by the Service Provider and approved by the Client. 5. Deliverables The Service Provider shall deliver: 1. Android application build (APK/AAB) suitable for Play Store deployment 2. iOS application build suitable for App Store / TestFlight deployment 3. Web application deployment build 4. Admin panel for Excel-based content management 5. Complete source code with repository access 6. Technical documentation, deployment guide, and admin usage guide 6. Project Milestones The project shall be delivered in the following phases: 1. UI/UX design and data model finalization 2. Domain-wise practice module implementation 3. Practice test module and scoring logic 4. Analytics, review, and progress tracking features 5. Admin panel and Excel import functionality 6. Multi-platform deployment and final handover 7. Non-Functional Requirements • Clean and intuitive user interface • Optimized performance on mid-range devices • Scalable question management • Secure admin access • Proper error handling and minimal crash rate 8. Exclusions (Out of Scope) The following are explicitly excluded unless agreed in writing: • Payment or subscription systems • Video or live training content • Community or discussion forums • AI-generated question creation • Multi-language support 9. Acceptance Criteria The project shall be deemed complete upon: • Successful import of all question banks from Excel • Accurate scoring and analytics • Functional deployment on Web, Android, and iOS • Admin capability to update content without app rebuild • Client’s written acceptance or no objection within [X] days of delivery 10. Intellectual Property Upon full payment, all intellectual property rights, including source code, documentation, and application assets, shall vest exclusively with the Client. 11. Confidentiality Both Parties agree to maintain confidentiality of all project-related information and materials. 12. Payment Terms Payment structure, milestones, and amounts shall be defined separately in Schedule A or the main agreement. 13. Termination Either Party may terminate this SOW with written notice in accordance with the main service agreement. 14. Governing Law This SOW shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Jurisdiction]. 15.
