I have bachelor and master degrees in IT. My Primary skills include Java, VB/.NET, Delphi, and PHP. Also database skills include MS Access, MySQL, and Oracle. My Other skills include server and network administration and maintenance with Linux/Unix and Windows Networking.

My proposal is as follows Technology - MS Access 2007 Menu Driven Frontend Menu #1 - Enter equipment details with stock availability. Menu #2 - Allocate equipment to clients Menu #3 - Regarding Fault/Repair Menu #4 - Reporting for low level stocks Also could you please share your current system / excels on which you currently manage? regards Prem

Hi, I have gone through your project description in detail and feel comfortable in providing you required solution in MS Access database. I have worked on several MS Access databases development of various complex requirements in forms/reports/VBA coding. In your project, I can provide you interactive form in which you can maintain your equipments list. Along with that you can track equipment's status as allocated, in stock etc. , with warning messages when stock level is low. Hi, I think a web-based approach would suit your needs better - i.e. have an access database on a webserver and do all the inventory work (add records, view reports etc) online from your web browser. This will provide you with huge benefits (no local installations, access from office/home/anywere etc). Of course, it can also be done as a desktop application - the amount of work for a developer is basically the same.

HI, Access and Excel VBA expert here, I offer you access application with very user friendly forms having functionalities like auto filling easy data selection through dropdowns, these forms will be for performing data operations and also other functions like selecting the data criteria for generation of the reports, the user interface structure of the application will be such that there will be a single Home form and all the other forms can be loaded on this main Home form through button clicks to access their functionality.
