Title - Characterisation of the pneumococcal serotype 16F genetic structure and antibiotic resistance from an intensively sampled African birth cohort
Almost all children have at least one episode of pneumococcal carriage during their early childhood and the prevalence of pneumococcal colonization is believed to be in ranges from under 10 % during the first few weeks of life.
1. Study dynamics of pneumococcal carriage in health (non- pneumococcal disease) and disease (pneumococcal disease) children
2. To use genomics to examine the population structure and antimicrobial susceptibility profile using Kirby Bauer Disk-Diffusion Method
we have done Whole Genome sequencing for 567 streptococcus pneumoniae isolates and we obtained results for Antimicrobial susceptibility testing now I have perform 329 phenotypic antimicrobial susceptibility testing from the same isolates using Disk Diffusion method to compare and see if we will get the same AST results.
I would like the Data Analyst to perform HeatMap ( to see distribution between the two site Clinics) for me or Phylogenetic tree ( to see if is there an ancestry relationship using sequence types between the two clinics Mbekweni and TC Newman)
I have already done Bar Graphs using Whole genome Data but it does not include DISK DIFFUSSION DATA. if possible can you please do comparable Bar Graph of both WGS VS DIsk Diffussion AST method
