Seasonal Farm Maintenance Help

Our family farm is heading into the peak season and several maintenance tasks must be wrapped up before harvest. The work is strictly part-time and paid per completed task, ideal for someone who wants to pick up extra cash during the season. Scope of work – Inspect and repair perimeter fencing where posts have loosened – Service small-engine equipment (mowers, tillers, portable pumps) and log completed checks – Flush irrigation lines, replace worn gaskets, and confirm even pressure across all zones – Tidy barn and tool shed areas, removing debris and organising hand tools What you’ll need to bring Your own basic hand tools, familiarity with small engine maintenance, and the ability to work safely around livestock and machinery. Experience with tractors or skid steers is a plus but not essential if you can show solid general repair skills. Deliverables 1. Fencing all secured, no gaps or broken wire 2. Equipment serviced with dated maintenance notes left on each unit 3. Irrigation system running leak-free at specified PSI 4. Barn and shed swept, tools stored, waste disposed of in the designated area I can be flexible on scheduling as long as the full list above is completed by the end of the season. Photos of each finished task will confirm completion before payment is released.
