French English Trade Fair Interpreter

I will be showcasing our CNC machining solutions at an upcoming industry trade fair and need an interpreter who can effortlessly move between French and English during live conversations on the stand. Your main focus will be real-time interpreting of technical discussions—tolerances, feeds, speeds, surface finishes, production scheduling, and related manufacturing-process topics—so a solid mechanical-engineering background is essential. Beyond translating, you’ll act as part of the booth team: greeting visitors, introducing our product samples, clarifying spec sheets, and noting follow-up details when I’m busy with other prospects. If you also happen to know Chinese, that will be a welcome bonus, but fluency in French and English is the core requirement. Deliverables for the assignment • On-site, real-time interpretation between French and English throughout show hours • Clear, technically accurate explanations of manufacturing-process terminology • Courteous exhibition-booth support, including basic visitor data capture and brochure hand-outs • Short end-of-day summary (bullet points or voice notes) capturing key visitor questions and leads If your background combines mechanical engineering knowledge with confident trade-fair presence, I’m ready to confirm dates and logistics right away.
