Transform Excel tables into a specific data matrix with MATLAB

• Load the Excel file for 4 different timeframes into Matlab

• Each includes 3 tabs for OSAT, N, and REC. Each of them gets their own data cube.

• Data cube has three dimensions: Area (rows), Segments(columns) and Time (the four Excel files)

• Ones we have created this data cubes/structure ( like ( Structur(Area, Segment, Time)=1 )

Build for every combination of area, segment and time (just H2FY19 and H1FY19) the following data vector (data profile) and store it in a data matrix/table

1. A score of THIS Area in THIS Segment for term

2. Avg. Score of the same Segment for the same term

3. Avg. Score of the same Area for the same term

4. Avg. Score across all other Areas in this same Segment for the same term

5. A score of THIS Area in THIS Segment for the previous term

6. A score of THIS Area in THIS Segment for the previous-previous term

7. Sample Size of this segment in this area

This means the output is a data matrix

• with 7 columns with those variables described above and

• 72 areas X 7 segments X 2 terms = 1008 rows
