Need to build a code for the following on R or MATLAB.
Problem: Finding the most optimal route for 10 salesperson to cover 100 shops with the following constraints:
1. Each shop can be visited only after a particular day (For e.g. Shop 20 can be visited anytime after the day 5, shop 28 can be visited after day 16, etc.)
2. Salesperson needs to spend different times at each shop depending on the size of the shop (For e.g. Any salesperson visiting Shop 20 will need to spend 6 hours at the shop, 18 hours on shop 28, etc.)
3. Finding the most optimal schedule for each salesman so as to complete all the visits in minimum possible time (need to minimize idle time and travel time for each salesperson)
