Probability and confidence of grading a calculation

We are scoring a process that generates an output value and subsequently assign a grade to that process. In the attached spreadsheet are example values and their corresponding grade. The last column represents the scores that would be obtained simply by random noise in a process. We then are given output from a set of processes that we have not yet graded: 40-1 = 1.27E+22 58-23 = 1.24E+11 56-17 = 1.09E+06 52-7 = 1.37E+04 What is the probability that each of these processes belongs in each of the grades shown in the spreadsheet? What is the confidence that the process belongs in that grade? Provide the solution as well as the algorithm that generates the solution and a written description of the algorithm's operation including pseudocode. In order to be considered for this project, please describe your relevant experience and how you would approach the problem in general terms.
