I have a set of metal parts modeled in STEP format and I now need complete 3-axis (or 3 + 2 if you feel it helps) toolpaths created in Mastercam. The focus is pure 3D milling on metal, so please optimise for both roughing and fine finishing passes, keeping cutter life and surface quality in mind. I will supply: • STEP files for every part • Basic stock size and any critical tolerances already called out on the model You will return: • The native Mastercam file with all operations organised and fully associative to the geometry • Post-processed NC code ready for Haas control (let me know if you need a different post) • A clear tool list with holders and stick-outs noted • Setup sheet so my shop floor can load, verify and run without guess-work Please feel free to recommend adaptive strategies, dynamic rest roughing, or other efficiencies where you see gains. Let me know your typical turnaround time per part and any questions about the geometry as soon as you review the STEP data.
