Adult summer camp is a start up company geared toward allowing approximately 300 adults 18+ relive their childhoods through day camps! Campers come from all walks of life, background and careers to set aside a day to relax, explore and live adventurously while leaving the stresses of home behind! Ziplining, mountain biking, slip and slip and slides, inflatables obstacle courses, arts and crafts, yoga, tournament, field day, painting there's no limits to the fun and possibilities of being an adult camper! Our camp is a 1 day all inclusive experience! No work, no emails just a place where adulting is strictly prohibited!
The Events Program Manager acts as an integral force In this role, you'll apply your savvy marketing background including lead generation and marketing communication to all events. If you're a marketing phenom who aspires to take the next big step in your career, we want to hear from you!
This position is to support the organizing the one day camp by generating leads, booking and organizing activities and making sure the event goes smoothly! Creative input is strongly encouraged.
Background in large event marketing a plus.
Responsibilities
* Act as the lead to ensure event success including
* Event preparation
* Be the point person for vendors, organisers and attendees
* Managing the creation and delivery of collateral
* Lead generation campaign execution
* Communications
* Be the on-site representative at conferences and event
* Assist with press releases and marketing/communication pieces
* Manage internal relationships with Creative, Product Marketing, Sales and Demand Generation teams to successfully deliver the events plan
* Assist with the development of marketing campaign collateral
* Design marketing promotional material for events (basic level)
* Ensure events run smoothly and are delivered within budget and meet goals
* Bachelor’s Degree (not required)
* Outstanding project management skills
* An eye for detail and creativity
* Diplomacy, tact and a strong customer focus
* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with grace under pressure
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Experience working and communicating with senior-level executives
* Travel to domestic and global events (< 10%) of the year
* Meet and delight customers
* Learn and use guerrilla marketing techniques
* Generate publicity
* Engage media contacts
* Have fun
* Coordinates account strategy with our Social Platform Partners (Facebook, Pinterest, Snapchat, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)
