•To develop and implement a sponsorship strategy to maximize the
number of sponsors supporting the client and generate revenue via cash and in--
kind contributions for client's main event and satellite events;
•To manage the existing relationships between client and its current
sponsors & partners;
•To provide support to the client team to ensure the efficient management of
client sponsorship activities.
•Assist the management/founders to develop and implement a corporate--
sponsorship and fundraising strategies. Undertake research to identify
potential partner companies, draft proposals tailored to the needs of
target companies. Manage corporate relationships with both existing and

Realistic targets will be set in consultation with management.
•Ensure all campaign materials are delivered at a high standard and meet
all contractual obligations.
•Keep Founders/Management and Financial Controllers briefed regarding
all financial and budgetary issues pertaining to your areas of
responsibility. Ensure that sponsors are invoiced in appropriate and
timely fashion and sponsor obligations regarding making payments to the clients
are adhered to.
•Assist the management in the development and implementation of special
promotions and marketing opportunities to support corporate
partnerships. Liaise with event PR Agency regarding implementation of
publicity strategies designed to support corporate partner relationships
and obligations. Monitor progress and results.
•Develop and maintain good relations with relevant media organizations.
•Oversee the carrying out of effective market research and ensure that the
event has access to sophisticated and appropriate demographic research
to support corporate and government funding and sponsorship proposals
and to inform marketing strategies.
•Manage sponsor, institution & government partner ticketing
requirements for the forum & fair.
•Present written and verbal reports and prepare documents for
management as requested. Provide the management with regular
financial reports and budgets pertaining to sponsorship in a manner and
Personal attributes & qualifications needed:
•Experience at a senior level in a marketing role. Experience is the arts and
design sector is desirable but not essential. Proven ability to develop and
implement effective, relevant marketing strategies. Proven experience in
the development and implementation of corporate public relations
•Proven successful sponsorship (cash & contra) and fundraising
experience and extensive experience in the management of corporate
partnerships. Demonstrable sound knowledge of the Indian Business
•Proven ability to negotiate successfully with a wide range of individuals,
particularly corporate sponsors.
•Experience in dealing with government representatives, sponsors and
embassy’s and an ability to meet the demands of such people professionally and thoroughly.
• Thorough knowledge of the mechanics of marketing the arts including
advertising placement, print and distribution management and the
achievement of editorial coverage in all media and a good general
knowledge of local and national media.
•Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meeting deadlines.
•Excellent personal presentation, and proven high standard of oral and
written communication skills.
•Ability and willingness to take direction. Ability to communicate clearly
and effectively within a team and experience in the management of staff.
•Willingness to work considerably ‘out of hours’.
•The candidate must be Mumbai/Delhi Native. Knowledge of a regional
language is desirable, preferably Hindi.

•Education: Masters level, preferable in marketing.
