AppsZoom is an app discovery platform, created in 2009 and based in Barcelona.
We provide review content to consumers to help them find the best apps to download. Our editorial team specializes in many different topics (gaming, gadgets, futurism, social media, lifestyle, etc.). We analyze and write about the most relevant apps, including those gems that might get lost in the app markets but that deserve attention based on their quality and/or uniqueness. We also help developers build the best apps and collaborate with them to promote their work.
KEY STRATEGIC GOALS:
Our key strategic goals are focused on differentiating ourselves from our competitors and building a clear brand. Consumers should regularly return to discover apps at AppsZoom. Developers should consider using the display and promotional services that we provide, allowing us to build new revenue streams.
From a Marketing perspective, the goals are related to growth:
- Increase the number of developers registered in our platform
- Increase the number of users coming to our site through direct traffic
- Increase engagement, by monitoring the percentage of returning visitors
From a Communications perspective, we believe the challenge is to create awareness and consideration in the targeted audiences.
JOB TO BE DONE:
1. Participate in the definition of the Strategic Communication Plan:
. Priority audiences to target
. Channels and formats
. Identification of key influencers and creation of a network to have ongoing contact with them
. Key messages and attributes to position the brand
2. Operational activities
. Press releases distribution
. Handling media queries
. Tracking media coverage
We are looking for a freelancer that can work with us part time and help us start all the PR activities, because we haven't even started down this road yet! We want to focus on US and UK markets.
