Implement Magento auto product import/removal solution

I need a dev to work with me to implement a product import/removal solution. This has been tried by a couple devs already. Workflow is as follows. Point of sale system sends two types of files to magento website every 30 minutes. [login to view URL] and delete.txt. [login to view URL] files are used to add and modify inventory. [login to view URL] files are used to remove files. Incoming files are modified and then converted to .csv via custom script and sent to specific folder. From this folder I need a solution. I have Firebear improved import and export but they weren't able to get it to run correctly. I would like to stick with this extension but if its impossible then I don't care what we use.
