I have 2 ADSL modem connections. each identical working with load balancing now. as you know this is not true bonding. I want to possibly use my pfsense router at the office (or build a linux router) and connect to my datacenter where i have 500Gbits of bandwidth and plenty of VMs on several VMWARE boxes. I want this to look like a seamless bonded transparent connection with up and downlaod speeds bonded back to my office. effectively doubling my download and upload speends. Like speedfusion/peplink does. I also have a pfsense install on the remote VM. I am looking at VtrunkD or MLVPN for packet level bonding. I am a server admin and sys-admin but have no time or patience for this now. Too busy running my operation. I can help with setting up vm's and hardware on local office if needed. obviously this would involve mostly configurations and know how.
