Ubuntu Linux 14.04 - Server Hardening Challenges

Hello, I have hosted my app on Linode servers. Installed LAMP but there are some issues. So I am looking for a expert who has genuine hands on experience and solve my problem. OS : Ubuntu 14.04 LINUX Problem 1 : VSFTDP Installation : I have installed vsftpd on my ubuntu 14.04 but it is not working as expected. The SFTP is not working and Not able to restrict the user to his home directory. But the same is working using FTP protocol. Need to Reisntall VSFTDP, Create FTP User and Home folders. Problem 2 : SSL Hardening. - Fail2Ban for SSH Login Protection is not installed successfully. So removed. Need to do fresh installation of Fail2Ban. Problem 3: Install UFW for controlling Iptables. Problem 4: Additional Security Layers Implementation Further Security Layers Intrusion Detection - PSAD Implementation Implement Intrusion Prevention System Services (IPS) Prevent IP Spoofing Check for Rootkits-RKHunter and CHKRootKit Problem 5: Sub-domains creations Problem 6: Apache2 Securities and Performance Fine tuning Problem 7: [login to view URL] optimizations Note : Please note that, all these have to be installed on my production server. No experiments are allowed. I want only those who has genuine hands on experience and confident enough in installing these things.
