I have a VERY simple project for a MySQL guru, and I need it done quickly. Here's the deal: I have setup a web store for a client with a MySQL backend, on a test domain I own (we'll call it [url removed, login to view]). The client's new website we'll call [url removed, login to view]
The work is now completed, and I have uploaded all the store files (Zen Cart), changed the configuration files, etc, but I am having difficulty migrating the SQL from [url removed, login to view] to [url removed, login to view], because a) the domain names are different and b) the username/password is different from what was saved in the exported SQL data.
Obviously, I need to change the SQL info to match the client's new SQL database, but have pretty much discovered that I cannot do this with just a simple text editor...or I'm doing it wrong :)
I need someone to very simply explain the steps I need to follow, like this:
1) export existing SQL data
2) edit (data) to match new client configuration using (program)
3) change configuration file on new server to ....(whatever)
4) ...you get the idea
In order to respect my client's privacy, I need an outlined version of what I need to do. I cannot allow FTP nor MySQL access, but will be happy to follow exact instructions via IM or e-mail to make it easier for you.
I am very familiar with FTP, and MySQL and can pretty much do whatever you need me to do without a lot of hand-holding ...honestly, I'd figure it out on my own with an evening of Google-searching, but I just don't have the time.
Bidders - cheapest bids get first priority, so bid low. I do not want to pay more than $15 for this assistance, but am flexible if you can guarantee fast results.
