We have in-house Exchange Server that relays outbound mails via postfix gatway, which also adds DKIM signatures. However, this DKIM verification fails for emails that are automatically forwarded from a source that attached original DKIM signature.
Example 1: normal email sent from user@our [login to view URL] Exchange is relayed via PostFix, which adds DKIM for our domain.com. When this email arrives for example in a gmail account, DKIM signature passes google tests. This is working scenario
Example 2: Exchange has auto-forward rule enabled to forward all emails for for inquiry mailbox to email@example.com. When a gmail account sends an email to this forwarded mailbox, Exchange relays it to postfix which appends to DKIM signature and delivers it to our ourcompanyaccount@gmail. Here the DKIM verification fails, but we think DKIM should survice forwarding.
Note all domain/addresses provided here are of course examples.
We will provide you with access to the real system for troubleshooting purposes.
