1. The issue is that when the client sends a post request to the API, it takes up to a few seconds for a response however the function itself executes in less than a second (issue occurs often when API is on idle and hasn't received a signal for a while)
2. Its ubuntu 18.04 running on wsgi as a system service on a lightsail server
