I had someone re-install NGINX for me (because I needed the Perl module) on an AWS EC2 instance. Now NGINX isn't working.
The error message I get is:
nginx: [emerg] bind() to 0.0.0.0:80 failed (13: Permission denied)
I think they way they installed it, it will no longer open port 80. My problem is that I don't know how to fix that.
This project is simple -- get my instance of NGINX working again.
This on a test EC2 instance (i.e., DNS is not pointing to the server). However, the EC2 instance has a WordPress installation, so it will load the homepage (when working correctly) if you hit the IP address in your brower.
Again...this project is simple -- get my instance of NGINX working again.
I will give you SSH access.
Hi, I have experience with linux and nginx, looks like there are some issues with binding to port 80. I can take a look quick. Best Regards, Constantin Plaiasu
