Vagrant Centos Puppet server

Create a Vagrant Centos Puppet server that installs the following items on its clients:

- MySQL

- Apache

- Tomcat

- java 7

- scala 2.11

- maven

- memcache

- php

Note

Default yum/rpm modules are fine for now.

Goal

The goal of this exercise is to demonstrate that you understand Linux and are able to document the installation steps in the Google Doc.

There are multiple levels of success for this test

The first level of success is to complete the Google Docs with the installation steps.

The next level of success is to take the installation steps from the Google Doc and

install the modules via the puppet server. You must create a Puppet server and client. (Vagrant, CentOS).

For the top level of success I would like to spin up and AWS or vanilla node in my datacenter and using your puppet server install the modules listed above.

I understand that's due to firewall restrictions and limitations on having remote clients connecting to a puppet server running on your local host where this may be a little complicated. Type james at the beginning of the proposal. This is a simple documentation job, think it require few hours. please check the attachment.

Must require: a vagrant centos 6.5 client

a bare metal centos 6.5 client

puppet client

This is a simple documentation job not require installation but need visual guide line.

I do this daily in my 9-5 job. I've written some posts on Puppet in general and have implemented Vagrant and Puppet in continuous deployment and continuous integration schemes (TeamCity and Jenkins). Some published pup Mere
