We are looking for someone to help us develop a site similar to [login to view URL] with the added functionality of being able to wager money on the game.
Chess matches will be free to the public, but games in which money is involved will be available only to members. Members will agree upon a dollar (USD) amount to wager and then start a match. Matches will be real-time (not correspondence). The site takes a percentage of the wagered funds as commission.
Members will be able to add funds to their account. They can only bet up to the total amount in their account. At the start of each game, the agreed upon wager is deducted from each player's account and dispersed to the winner at the completion of the match (minus the site's cut). Members can request withdrawals from their account at any time. Payments will be handled by Paypal.
Players should have a ranking based on their win-loss percentage. They should be able to upload a small picture of themselves and create a profile. There should be a lobby area where players can see who is online and invite another player to a match. There will need to be an administration area where the site owner can view match history and disperse funds.
We are looking for a developer with experience in developing online chess sites. Hosting will be on a linux server with cpanel.
