Throughout 20+ years of my HR career I made thousands of recruitments.
There were times I recruited people as my core profession, later on I worked myself to shape job requirements, interview hiring managers and prepare job postings myself or with professional recruiters, to make them attractive for particular target audience.
Any time hiring the best was the purpose, thus desiging a job posting was crucial first step.
Lately, I recognise the habits of new generations are changing, and you should be concise in your wording, straight to the point (people tend to struggle with long texts) but at the same time your message should leave a feeling of heartful «human» language.
So, what I am after is:
- detailed interviewing of hiring manager / representative who is capable to talk through a role and requirements
- desigining a profile of «ideal candidate» and defining target group
- co-creating a job add which attracts the best
