LED Lighting Design for Walkways Hiring for Electrical Engineer

I’m upgrading a series of pedestrian pathways and need a qualified electrical engineer to design a safe, energy-efficient LED lighting system from the ground up. The goal is a well-lit environment that feels welcoming after dark while meeting all relevant codes and minimizing long-term maintenance. Scope • Assess the site drawings I’ll supply and determine optimal pole spacing, mounting heights and fixture wattage for even illumination with minimal glare. • Select commercially available LED luminaires that balance efficacy, durability and visual comfort. • Produce all electrical calculations—load schedules, voltage drop, conduit and conductor sizing—and size the panel or transformer as required. • Provide a photometric study so stakeholders can visualize light levels before installation. Deliverables 1. Complete single-line diagrams and circuit layouts (AutoCAD or Revit format preferred). 2. Photometric report and lighting layout (IES files included). 3. Fixture schedule with manufacturer part numbers and cut-sheets. 4. Bill of materials and rough cost estimate for procurement. 5. Installation notes covering trenching depths, bonding/earthing and any smart-control provisions we agree on. While I’ve chosen LED lights, I’m open to your recommendations on enhancements such as motion sensors, dimmable drivers or smart controls if they improve performance or payback. Please outline similar pathway or exterior projects you’ve completed and indicate which software you will be using for calculations and drawings (Dialux, AGi32, Relux, etc.). I’m ready to start as soon as I find the right partner and will be responsive to keep the project moving quickly.
