I’d like a complete landscape concept that turns my outdoor area into a traditionally styled haven for quiet relaxation. The design needs to flow in a calm, timeless way while still feeling welcoming for family and friends. Key features I definitely want incorporated are a gentle water element, comfortable seating nooks, and inviting pathways that guide guests through the space. I also want room for a small barbecue zone and a neat, productive vegetable garden without sacrificing the overall sense of peace. You’ll provide a scaled master plan that shows hard- and soft-scape layouts, a planting schedule suited to my climate, material suggestions for paving and edging, and at least one visual rendering so I can picture the finished look before we break ground. CAD, SketchUp, or similar design software is fine as long as the files are easy for my contractor to interpret. I’ll consider the job complete when the plan clearly illustrates where every element sits, the planting list is practical and easy to source, and the final visuals capture the traditional, restful atmosphere I’m after.
