Android Developer to create an EdTech Platform

Zenius is a high growth EdTech startup based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The company's focus so far has been the K -12 (Class 1 to 12) education space. It offers a series of products across different verticals and has trained over 12 million students. With the ZenPro product, we aim to address upskilling and reskilling space post K-12 (labour productivity, college education, working professionals, address the gap between workforce and the industry demands and the college graduates).
We have raised Series A funding of $20 Million in 2019 and Pre-series B in 2020. The company saw strong growth in 2020, with revenues increasing over 70 per cent. The launch of its live classes in March 2020 increased user growth by over 10X, with a user retention rate of over 90 per cent.
The application will be built on a micro service architecture on AWS cloud with Node.js backend. The web application will be on [login to view URL] and there will be native apps for Android and iOS. We will also be using MongoDB, Postgres, Redis, ElasticSearch etc. based on different use cases.
Requirements -
● Extensive experience in developing mobile apps using Android SDK with proficiency in Java /Kotlin and design patterns
● Expertise in Core Java with good knowledge of Kotlin with solid OOD principles and design
patterns
● Hands on experience with Jetpack components, RxJava and Dagger2
● Well versed with storyboards, auto layout and size classes for UI designing
● Grasp of memory management, multithreaded programming and background processing
● Strong CS fundamentals (with competencies in algorithms and data structures)
● Experience with SaaS platforms for mobile development such as Analytics, Push Notifications,
Cloud Storage, Ad Networks, etc.
● Hands-on experience with Android’s debugging, unit-testing, memory and performance optimization tools as well as experience of automated and manual testing platforms
