1 - Image paths
All the content for our joomla site lives in the content & modules
tables. Our old site has collected several years of uploaded images into a
single images/stories directories. Each content item is sorted into a
section / category.
The script will open content items containing HTML img tags
Loop through the HTML and find img src paths
Locate the section / category for the content item
Check a directory is available for the section / category for
saving of the image
if not create it the directory
Curl / move the image from the original location to the updated path
using the section / category as location path
EXAMPLE
OLD_IMAGE_PATH = images/stories/[url removed, login to view]
NEW_IMAGE_PATH = images/stories/section/category/[url removed, login to view]
Update the image path in html tag img src="NEW_IMAGE_PATH"
Script will be planned to be run through cron to fixed images path for
new content items added in the future
add checksum on content to check if old items need updated again
2 - Convert plugin tag
with migration from j1.5 to j2.5 we moved to another component to deliver

3 - XML files
All media is streamed through XML playlists. We are moving servers,
the content find in the playlists need to migrated to the new server.
Open XML directory containing the XML files.
Process the XML files moving the file from remote location to path in
found the xml file
