The deliverable would be a code that can utilize the tools within Image J (e.g., filters and operations) that can translate images of walnut kernels into continuous, quantitative color scores. Ideal candidate can work under a strict timeline, be organized, attend meetings, and have patience with trying each iteration of code with images. This work is in collaboration with researchers at UC Davis Plant Sciences and Agriculture Engineering.
