I need to pass to jquery datepicker dynamically created json variable. On window ready function my php code updates the list of disabled dates from mysql database through jquery ajax call and returns a json response that I can successfully see in [login to view URL] or alert or write to a span element via html(). I tried to write the json data to a span tag and the use another function to read text() of span and store it in var, I made the code to wait until ajax code is executed first, but I fail to pass the disabled days' var to the datepicker. The problem must be in the scope of the var, I fail to return it out of function to global scope. The datepicker does not take its value.... I need this fixed
