Note: our current versions have been adapted to [login to view URL] r126 but the code is still broadly the same.
Goal: Source 2 (chameleon) functions must be integrated into source 1 (avatar) example in order to be able to paint all parts of the model.
Constraint 1: add three buttons at the bottom of Source 1 screen in order to switch between menus (hide/inactive and show/active).
- The 1st menu is Source 1 menu without the animation part
- The 2nd menu is the animation part only of Source 1 menu
- The 3rd menu is Source 2 menu
Constraint 2: a new section must be added to the 3rd menu where you can choose among all objects that formed the Source 1 model. Once this object has been selected, it is the only one that is displayed (when menu 3 is active) and can be painted. To begin with, the body part must be displayed.
Constraint 3: Source 2 loads meshes from obj files. Source 1 loads gltf files with embedded meshes. I suppose some conversion between the formats wil have to be done back and forth.
Constraint 4: all functions of each Source must be fully functionnal after the changes, like the mergeAndExport from Source 1 or ExportTexturedModel from Source 1.
Deliverable: Modified Source 1 webpack.
