Coding Expert (Javascript/Jquery) Needed for HTML Theme

Hi, I currently have a HTML Theme that I am in the process of customizing. The theme features TOGGLES (with multiple levels). The toggles can either be set (within a javascript file) to be completely open or closed upon loading. However, I am hoping to reach a solution where (upon loading) the first level of the toggle is open, while the sub-levels remain closed. Please reference the following page to see the toggle in action and how it currently loads by default ([login to view URL]) As you can see, right now the javascript is set to its default state (where everything is closed). I already have been informed that I can set the javascript so that the toggle defaults to open, however this results in all of the sub-level toggles (Frequently Asked Questions in this instance) to be open as well, which is not desired. I'm looking for merely the list of questions to be displayed, while the content under each question remains hidden until clicked on (as seen in the attached image below) ______ I posted this issue to the theme developers website, and they replied with the following: "both of these features (toggles and FAQ toggle) use the same code, so is not possible to get one of them closed by default and other opened. The only way would be to create a separate code for each one." ______ This is what I would like achieved. Please let me know if this is clear, and if not I will do my best to describe it in better detail. My main goal here (in addition to the task at hand) is to find someone that would like to work together on MANY more of these types of projects in the future. This is definitely one of the more challenging requests I will ever make when it comes to theme/template customization, so if we are able to achieve this, it should be smooth sailing from here on out. I'm really looking forward to developing a successful business relationship. Thank you.
