Acrobat 9 pro has an option of running a sequence of commands to batch process multiple files. We need to create a sequence of 3 steps as follows:
1) do the page Numbering from 1 to last page (command Already built in with acrobat)
2) Execute a java script to check -- if the number of pages in the file is ODD, (Needs to be done)
3) then add a blank Page at the end of that to make it even number of pages for that document save with ovewright in the same folder as the original file (command Already built in with acrobat)
4) Else Just save with ovewright in the same folder as the original file (command Already built in with acrobat)
I have attached a snapshot of the Acrobat batch sequence window for reference.
Menu Path in acrobat 9 : advanced --- Document Processing ---- Batch Processing.
Simple words: Suppose I have 10 pdf files. Some have odd and other have even number of pages . I need to create a batch processing sequence in acrobat that automatically Numbers the pages from (1 to last) converts all the files that have odd number of pages to even number of pages by adding a blank page to them and overwrite in the same folder.
