I'm trying to capture a user's email address as early as possible (and without clicking a submit button) in a checkout process in order to be able remind them later that the left something in the cart if they never checked out. I'm hoping you can write some java script code to do the following:
1. Once the user completes a form field named "email" and moves to the next field, validate the email address.
2. Next, take the email address and append it to a URL and call the URL behind the scenes without the user having to submit the form they are filling out. The URL will be on the same server as the page running the java script.
Essentially, I'm trying to do something similar to [url removed, login to view] but I need the data going into a custom page that I will create later.
Thanks for looking at my project.
