Hello, if you are trying to use UMLS with ctakes offline then indeed some modifications to the authentication part would be needed to change the way it handles that. But since ctakes is open source then that shouldn't be a problem, the modifications would remove authentication requirements and make it work with the UMLS resources you have available.
